Get in touch

For general questions, you can also reach the owner at bobby@milemarx.com. For privacy or data requests, email privacy@milemarx.com. Email opens your mail app; this page does not submit a form.

Include your app version, iPhone/iOS version, race name, and a short description. Please don't send passwords, payment details, a private device credential, or someone else's location. If we need a sharing code to investigate, we'll ask privately.

Launch updates & limited beta

The next MileMarX release is in preparation, and public App Store availability has not begun. Beta access is limited; there is no open download link yet. Email the owner about launch updates or testing. An inquiry doesn't guarantee an invitation. Earlier beta builds may still show the previous branding and differ from the features previewed here.

Common questions

Where do course discoveries come from?

Our team can publish or update points on supported courses as information becomes available. These include water, restrooms, character meet-and-greet sightings, photo stops and entertainment. Coverage varies; reported sightings are not official schedules or guarantees. Check the latest available information and follow event staff.

Can I use it away from an organized race?

Yes. Free Run is for real outdoor runs on a trail, in a forest preserve, or around a local track. It uses GPS and doesn't need a preloaded race course. Character and other race-specific discoveries require a supported course.

Can friends cheer and follow without running?

Yes. Following and preset cheers are free. The upcoming release uses private invitation codes, while earlier beta sharing may differ. Keep your code within your trusted circle. Updates and delivery need connectivity and can be delayed.

What happens when I finish?

The next release offers Finish Run & Meet Up when sharing is enabled: save your results and share your actual location for up to one hour. End Sharing stops it sooner. Stop Run & Sharing ends directly without a meetup. Older beta builds may not have these controls.

Why is background location needed?

To support running cues while your phone is locked, and—where available—an explicitly enabled Meet Up session. You control permissions in iOS Settings. GPS and background activity use battery; this isn't an emergency service.

How do purchases and restores work?

Race Weekend and Race Week passes do not auto-renew. Only the yearly plan auto-renews. Use Restore Purchases in the app with the same Apple Account used to buy. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings. Apple handles billing and refund requests through Report a Problem. Access depends on a valid, unexpired purchase.

My race isn't listed. Can you add it?

Suggest it through the app or email us with the event name, date and official course source. At least two weeks' notice helps, but inclusion and live coverage are not guaranteed. Do not send private or unlicensed files.

How do I report a wrong point or an inappropriate cheer?

Use the in-app feedback/report controls available in your build, or email support. Include the event, point name and approximate time without sharing another person's private details. Don't rely on the app for urgent help; contact event staff or local emergency services.
